Warts &
Corns

What are warts and corns?

Warts are skin lesions that can be caused by a virus. They may spread to surrounding skin or appear in clusters.

Corns form when repeated pressure and friction thicken the skin and harden its core, often making them painful. They can look similar, but the causes differ, so an accurate diagnosis before treatment is essential.

※ Recommended treatments may vary depending on your skin condition and concerns.

“From warts to corns”

We examine the shape and depth of each lesion and the surrounding skin, then treat it according to its condition.

  • Case 01

    Viral infection (HPV)

Warts can develop when HPV infects the skin, and they can spread through contact.

  • Case 02

Small cuts & weak skin barrier

The virus enters easily through small cuts or cracks, so warts can keep coming back on the hands and feet.

  • Case 03

    Repeated pressure & friction

Corns can form when shoes or walking habits put constant pressure on one spot, thickening the skin.

  • Case 04

    Foot structure & gait

Corns can develop when body weight shifts to one side or the toes are deformed.
